Big Bang theory is about life of four nerds, each of them are geniuses in science field. In the episode Bath Items Hypothesis, Leonard, the main character of the sitcom works together with a new, handsome physicsist, David Underhill. When David starts to date Penny, Leonard’s attractive neighbour which happened to be someone he harboured feeling to, Leonard starts to get jealous. Fortunately, the couple broke up after Penny discovers that David had a wife. And then enters Sheldon’s struggle to find a perfect give for Penny according to his ‘gift protocol’ which ended up with him buying multiple basket filled with bath items.
When I first watched this sitcom, I was speechless. Because they talk so fast and there were no English subtitles that can help me to understand what they were talking about. After watching it more than 10 times, I’ve finally gained the idea of the story. In my opinion, this sitcom is very entertaining to watch when you were able to make sense on what they were talking about. The characters were fun and amusing and by watching this sitcom, we gained a different perspective on how the nerds live their life, the way they talk and interacts with people.
My most favourite character is none other than Sheldon. Out of all characters, I think he stood out the most, like beacon shining through starry night. I love the way he talks and his bizarre sense of humor. His reaction over a Penny’s Chrismas gift which happened to be a napkin with Leonard Nimoy’s DNA is simply hilarious.
The moral values of the story is that we must learned to appreciate our friends. For example, after Leonard met David Underhill which is handsomer and popular, he starts to hang out with him more often and spend less time with his friends much to their annoyance. However after David met Penny, Leonard’s pretty neighbour and dates her, he ended up excluded Leonard in their meeting and left Leonard with more works at lab and no extra hand .Leonard become upset by this and went back home. Therefore, in my opinion, Leonard tastes his own medicine as what goes around comes around. Karma.
The conclusion is Big Bang Theory is something that worth watching for and suitable to be watched by every levels in society, whether young and old.

Informal Letter:Depressed Teenagers
No 14 Jalan Bukit 4/3

Dear Shahirah,
How are you today?I hope you and your family are in a pink of health. I've already received you letter and my sincere apology for the late reply. Life as a university student is very demanding however I tried to find time to reply as soon possible and this is the results.
I’m sorry to hear what had happened to you. In the last letter, you said that you have been through an extremely tough years with never-ending problem and you are in desperate need for someone to talk as you’ve been feeling depressed lately. I understand your feelings. After all, there’s no one in this world that can escaped from problems. What make a different is different method people used to solve their problem. Let me share some tips that might be helpful to your predicament.
If you feel sad and depressed, do not bottled it inside as it will only make your depression worst. You have to learn to let it go little by little and one of the way it can be done is by talking to more experienced adults. In my opinion, school counsellor is the best person you can consult with. Why? Because they are open minded and a very good listeners. You can practically talk with them about everything without fear of your secret leaking out. The counsellor will listen to your problem carefully and after you’re done, they give you helpful advices and tips to handle your problem. Futhermore, the councellors are more experienced since they had deal with many cases involving problematic teenagers before.
Besides that, keeping a diary is also one of effective method to handle depression. Whenever you are feeling sad and lonely, you can literally poured your heart out in the form of writing. Who knows, by releasing the bottled emotions inside your heart, you will feel lighter, as if a great burden lifted off your shoulder.
And please if you find your problem too unbearable to handle and overcome by the need of something to release you from the building stress, please do not think alcohol or drugs can be a helpful solution. Yes, it can help you to forget your problems for a short while but not forever. After the drugs or alcohol ran out their effects, you will remember everything that happened and you will feel worst than before. Imagined, not only you have an unsolved problems, you will feel the after effect of the substance such as migraine and hangover.
I have a problem too. Recently my childhood friend died in a car crash and to say I was devastated by her death was an understatement. I’ve come close to think her as a sister that I never had. It was surreal because we’ve been through many things together, we watched movies together, we’ve been to each other’s home and her sudden death affect me bad. I was depressed after her death and even now I can hear her laugh, can see her smile and mischievious grin. She is a very good friend, good listener. And she’s gone. Can you understand how I felt?
But eventually with the support of my family and friend, I learned to accept what happened. Because I know she will be angry at me if I continue living in the past and not move on. And because I know everthing happened with reasons. You may lose now, but who know you might gain something better in future. And now, I have great friends and supporting family. I’m happy with my life and deep inside I know she is will be happy for me too.
If you have problem, always remember that you’re not alone. There are people out there that faced a bigger crisis in their life and yet they strived forward, not letting their problem weighing them down. I hope it could be the same way for you. That’s all for today. I'll be expecting a reply soon.Send my regards to your family.
Your beloved friend,
Natasha

500 Days of Summer Review
500 days of Summer is a romantic comedy story of an aspiring architect but work as a writer in a greeting card company, Tom Hangen who thinks that he finally found his true love. Tom is a hopeless romantic, a firm believer in love, fate and destiny. Upon meeting his boss’s new and attractive secretary, Summer Finn, Tom believes that he has already found his soulmates. Unfortunately for Tom, Summer doesn’t believe in true love and wanted to keep their relationship casual. Summer’s refusal to believe in true love didn’t stop Tom from continue to pursue her. However Tom’s persistence hardwork is for naught. Tom enters into deep depression after they broke up and become even more devastated after knowing that Summer got engaged to someone else. He quits his job and decides to apply for an architect job.
The moral value of this story is high expectation sometimes might results in depression. For example, after discovering that he and Summer had shared many common interest, Tom decides that Summer is his soulmate and the one he would marry. Despite Summer telling him that she was not interested in serious relationship, Tom believes that he can convince Summer that love is real. When their relationship ends, Tom become depressed and seemed to lose his will to live. He keeps thinking back to their 500 days together to try to figure out where things go wrong. In my opinion, when Summer said that she was not interested in serious relationship, Tom should have prepared himself from the beginning to expect the worst. At least it might save him from further heartache.
I know this sounds weird but a character from 500 days of Summer that excites me the most is Paul, one of Tom’s best friends and acted by Matthew Gray Gubbler. Matthew Gray Gubbler is my favourite actor after Johnny Depp and Huge Law. The moment I saw him as Dr Spencer Reid, a born genius and young FBI agent in television series Criminal Mind, I’ve fallen in love with him since then. And I think Paul is a very interesting character, although none of his advices can heal Tom’s ailment. He is charming and not to mention sweet especially when he talks about his girlfriend, Aiden.
When I first I saw the scene at the beginning of the story where both leading characters were sitting on a bench overlooking the city holding hands, I expected that they will ended up together and live happily ever after like a common Hollywood rommance story. In first glimpse, they looked so perfect together, seemed so ideally matched and it was a bit shock when their relationship ends. I think this movie is very unique and different from common romantic story, where both male and female leading characters marry and live happily ever after or one of them died or divorced and the story will end up either happy or sad ending, in this movie, both leading character broke up and each of them found their true love.
500 days of Summer is a story about heartache, heights and pitfalls in relationship, heartache and love.

Power Of Time
Time is not limitless. Is is not something we can restore in our closet and use it when we want it. It doesn’t matter that you are the president of a multi-billionare company rich and poor or even calculus geek, each of you received 24 hours a day which equals to 1,440 minutes or 86,400 seconds! No more and no less. Sadly, there are only a number of people in this world actually realized the importance and the real power of time.
Time is precious, even worth than mountains of diamonds. No matter that you are dead rich and capable of buying the entire world, no amount of money or tressure could make up the lost time. Therefore, as clock continue to tick, we must treasured every seconds and minutes that passed. There’s a saying even said that we must let the time chased us and not the other way round.
You need time to get what your heart desired in this life. If you wait for extra time to appear and take things for granted, you better be careful as you might lose the game of life. Through right time management, you can “create” the time you need, and not just wait for it to come. Wise time management can help you find the time for what you desire to do or need to do.
So much to do but so little time. Most people feel like they have too much work to be done in short notice. But time flew so fast and because of their poor time management, some work left unfinished. When this happens, they started to blame lack of time for any problems that arise. By planning your time wisely, you will have more time to accomplish more works than you expected.
There are many things you can do and tools to use to manage your time effectively. There is a lot of time wasted each day, which can be put to better uses. There are changes you can make, which will effectively increase the time you have at your disposal every day. Thinking, planning, finding out how others manage their time, and reading books and articles on time management, will develop these skills and give you good ideas.
Among the many changes that you can make to manage your time, there is one that is important that is getting up early in the morning. Give up watching TV or plating computer games till midnight and go to sleep a little earlier than usual. It will then be easier to wake up earlier. Even waking up 15 minutes earlier would be great. It is a time of quietude, before everyone else wakes up, which you can devote to doing things, for which you have no time during the day, such as reading, meditating, exercising or planning your day. You will be surprised at how much works can be done if you fully utilised each seconds, minutes and hours that had been given freely to you.
To get rid of the feeling that you have much to do but so little time, feel and think as if you have all the time in the world. This will help you feel calm and enable you to focus on what you are doing, without stress and strain. You should at the same time plan your time well, not waste it on useless matters, do everything you can at the best of your ability, never procrastinate, act with discipline and focus on what you are doing.
Dear Miss Liyana,
Recently while I was reading a newspaper,my eyes was merely stuck when I saw this one particular title. This big, glaring title specifically caught my attention. It was about the divorce between famous Hollywood couple, Jennifer Lopez and March Anthony. In my opinion, they really looked good together and the marriage seems just fine and I really don’t understand how such things could happened. Lopez’s decision to end their seven years marriage sent the fans in total shock and people mourned their sudden separation, especially she just gave birth to twin three years ago.
Talking about divorcé, it had been such a hot topic now in Malaysia. The divorce rate is getting higher as year passed by and this is really terrifying.
It makes me ponder for a while. What would happened to their children? Yes,they are still young and know nothing about divorce, but one thing I can assure is when they grow up, they will start wondering why their parents didn’t live under the same roof and why their parents are not together.
What if their children were older? Imagine their feeling when the image of their perfect family that they were so proud of become a shattered illusion. To see their parents suddenly didn’t talk to each other and to witness the relationship between both parents become sour, it must be a devastating sight.
After all, it was every child’s unspoken dream to see their parents marriage lasts till the end. To see their parents suddenly become bitter to each other. Hence, their children become the victim, as they have to choose between their mother and father. To cornered them to do such a hard decision is really pitiful.
This is the effect of divorce affecting the child. To be a parents, it is not an easy tasks. One must know their responsibilities and how to tolerate between each other. When we start to understand this fundamental we might be able to stop divorce from happening.
